Womansong is growing....

Singing together is good for your spirit, your health, and even your social life!  Plus we do good things for the community we live in.

If you'd like to join us in singing our way thru these "interesting times," check out our   membership info.  We are now auditioning and welcoming new members into our Village as we sing together for   Joy, Social Justice, and Community.

Womansong's Artistic Director:

Dr. Allison Thorp
“I am very excited to be a part of this choral community!” says Allison. "I was impressed on every level from the musical performance videos to the group’s commitment to service in the community....   I see women’s choruses as a place... to be renewed, to meet kindred spirits, to be seen and to not be invisible. We put beautiful energy out into the world through our music, but also take it home within ourselves...".   Allison’s first Womansong Concert took place in  fall of 2022.

Womansong in Concert, May 2022:   "Music in the Air"
Our first live concert since December 2019, and it was great to be back!
Directed by Sarah Rubin and Martha Burrows, with Althea Gonzalez.
We hope you had as much fun as we did!

At the concert, we raised over $3,200 through donations and the amazing  Raffle   of  awesome goodies to benefit Womansong's New Start Fund.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of women in Western North Carolina.
